Revealing how overworked the e6-bishop is; it was needed to cover both d5 and d7, but just like man, he may serve but one master at a time.  Here, Black chooses to move the king, allowing the e6-bishop to continue supporting d5.

1...Ke7

If instead Black abandons d5 by 1...Bxd7 then 2.Nxd5

...and as Black must protect against the threatened mate on h8 (now that the knight controls e7, heretofore the black king's escape square), she lacks the time to save her queen.

2.Nxf6








Once again, Black was unable to save her queen.  White wins.
