White is two pieces ahead, and looks to be just about
ready to tear open the black kingside. Only problem is - it's
Black to move, and Black has a zinger for White!

If 2.Nd2 then 2...Qa1+ 3.Nb1 Qxb1 mates. Every other White move
loses to 2...Qa1 mate. Black's rook sacrifice has
cleared the way for the queen to invade White's king's position.
The rook sacrifice is called a clearance sacrifice.
Also, Black has attracted the white king to a square where the queen
can invade with check, leading directly to checkmate.
