True, Black just gave up his bishop for a pawn, but
in doing so he cleared the f3-square for his knight. Now
repeated knight forks become the dominant theme.
2...Nf3+
Fork #1 - d2 and g1.
3. Kg2 Nxd2
Fork #2 - b1 and e4.
4. Rbe1 Nxe4 5. Rxe4 Rfd8
Now that all the smoke has cleared we discover that
Black is up the exchange (which means that he has a rook for his
opponent's minor piece - knight or bishop) and has an extra pawn to
boot. It should be enough to win, given careful handling of
the endgame.
