Nothing too fancy or complicated here.  Black had shut off all escape routes for the queen, which now has no retreat.  Nowhere to go, the best Black can do is capture the bishop on a3, so that at least White's rook will be misplaced.  A bishop and a misplaced rook though is still not enough compensation for losing your queen.  Black can safely resign here.
