Taking control of the light squares along the pawns paths to promotion.  Note that due to the weakness of the d4-pawn, White must force the action, every step of the way.

2...Kg8 3.f7+ Kh7

3...Kh8 4.f8=Q+ Kh7 5.g6 mate.

4.g6+ Kxh6 5.f8Q+ Kg5 6.Qf4+
