Final Fantasy Chess Result: Congratulations to Tony Perugini (USA) who won this Fantasy Chess Tournament by 4½ points!  That is quite a margin for a Fantasy Chess Tournament.  His Fantasy Chess selections were:

• Leon Bonus: Ponomariov(10)

• White Wins: Adams(6)

• Black Wins: Gelfand(4)

• White Losses: Akopian(4)

• Black Losses: Radjabov(6)

• Enghien-les-Bains Bonus 1: Polgar(5.5)

• Enghien-les-Bains Bonus 2: Korchnoi(3)

Final Result from Enghien-les-Bains: Bareev won the Enghien-les-Bains Tournament with a last round draw against Korchnoi.  Adams was the only person who could catch him, but he could only draw against Akopian.  The only decisive result of the final day was Gelfand's win against Bauer, which sees him finish in joint 3rd with Polgar.

Final Result from Leon: Ponomariov and Topalov played out a tough final, with only one of the games being decisive.  In game 3, Topalov lost on time, even though it looked in the final position as though he had a perpetual check, which would have given him the draw.  This means that Ponomariov won the final 2½-1½.
